Meaningful youth inclusion in policy making - a topic that does not only concern us youth delegates, but all people involved in the creation and implementation of laws. On Friday, the 6 February 2026, Jorina Kaminski (Swiss UNYD), Viktor Tsvetanov (Bulgarian UNYD) and Vyara Trifonova (Bulgarian UNYD) organised a youth breakfast to talk about exactly that: What does meaningful youth inclusion mean? How can governments ensure a meaningful, long-lasting inclusion of youth voices in their work?
Together with over 30 participants, they touched upon these topics in an interactive dialogue and created the space for knowledge exchange, creativity to flow and new ideas to grow. A big thank you goes out to Katie Acheson, co-founder of the numbers and people synergy, and Saana Annala from the UN Office for disarmement affairs, our two key note holders. Their inputs served as the perfect kick-off point of an enriching conversation about meaningful youth inclusion.
